Georgia Writers Association is a 501(c)3 Non-profit professional writing association serving the diverse needs of the literary and writing community. We have members in all genres and sectors of the writing profession. We are sponsors of the oldest literary award in the Southeast - The Georgia Author of the Year Awards. We grant monies to vetted authors to serve the underserved communities of Georgia. We provide educational opportunities such as the Red Clay Writers Conference and workshops.
