The Guild Foundation
The Guild Foundation is a nonprofit that provides green building & place-making tools. It helped foster the Katrina Cottages. It hosts the Original Green initiative, which describes sustainability more broadly than "Gizmo Green." It begins with the fact that we must build sustainable places, which should be nourishable, accessible, serviceable, accessible & securable, before it's meaningful to discuss sustainable buildings, which should be lovable, durable, flexible & frugal.
