Foodsafe is a highly sought after course for those working in the restaurant industry, volunteer food services or a prerequisite in a chef program. The program is an onsite 8 hour course which leads to certifcation in Foodsafe Level 1. The program was initially created and legislated from the provincial government and mow is governed by the local health authorities. The course is taught by certified public health inspectors.
