The Society For Disabled Women
The Society For Disabled Women (SDW) was set up in 1994 as a non- governmental organisation (NGO) registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Subsequently, it was granted FCRA (Foreign Contribution and Regulation Act) permission in June 1999 by the Ministry of Home Affairs Government of India. SDW was founded to help society’s most marginalized victims, the disabled and encourages others to set up similar organizations.
