Children And Youth Empowerment Link (CAYEL) is a grass root organization located in Kanyanya Parish, Kawempe Division. The Organization was started by Young people within the slums of the Divison in 2016. This was as a result of death of our fellow Namuleme (aged 15) who was gang raped, impregnated and died while giving birth. Investigations into Namuleme's case demonstrates that she was raped by boys linked to various gang groups in the community.
