The National Council of NGOs
The National Council of NGOs (also known as the NGO Council) is a statutory body established under Section 23 of the NGO Coordination Act of 1990 to serve as an umbrella body for NGOs registered under the Act. The Council is mandated under this law to promote self-regulation of the sector, capacity building and strengthening the voice of civil society in national development matters.
