Mihithala Mithuro Environmental Development Foundation was formed in 1994, based on the Kodigahakanda conservation plane with community development . Since 1994 to present it has been continue eco-friendly livelihoods and Forest conservation projects with UNDP and other Stakeholders. All the members who belong to the organization are working on the voluntary basis. It has thousand of members around the Kodigahakanda Forest Area which is situated Kalutara District in Sri Lanka.
