The Environmental Governance Institute (EGI) is non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting the sustainable management of natural resources in Uganda and the Great Lakes Region. Based in Kampala-Uganda, the organisation was born out of the need to contribute to efforts to promote equitable utilization and sustainable management of natural resources for socio-economic development.
