Marion Meyers is a Canadian painter working in encaustic, which is beeswax and damar resin. Her work is a contemporary look at urban and rural landscapes in both realistic and abstract interpretations. The work uses both opaque and transparent pigments to bring out the fabulous depth and luminosity of encaustic medium. Marion scraps and digs into the medium, and builds up areas with both hot fluid medium and oil sticks to create fabulous texture. Visit site »| Tweet |
