The Regional Reference Standards Laboratory (RRSL), Faridabad, was set up by the Government of India, under the aegis of the Directorate of Legal Metro-logy Unit of the Department of Consumer Affairs, monitored by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, New Delhi.
