Chess in Schools provides standards-based chess instruction and services to schools through the training of its teachers. We train teachers to teach chess and to integrate chess into standards-based instruction. In the hands of a trained teacher, chess becomes a catalyst to developing critical thinking, life skills, and cognitive executive functions in children.
