The Patcong Creek Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to caring for the Patcong Creek. In Southern New Jersey, it is an important home for many species—some threatened and endangered. It's a stop on the Atlantic Flyway of migratory birds, home to multiple bald eagle and osprey nests, a nursery for blue crabs, and home to multiple species of turtles.
