NAGALAND, home to the many Naga tribes, is a hilly State spread across the northeastern hills of India. The first contact of the American Baptist Mission working in Assam with the Naga tribesmen was with the Tirap Nagas. Miles Bronson established a Christian Mission Centre at Namsang village in 1839. In the following year, he was joined by his wife and his sister, Rhoda Bronson.
