Sam R. Hamburg, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist licensed in Illinois and New Jersey. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Brandeis University in 1969, and his doctorate in clinical psychology from The American University, Washington, DC, in 1976. In that same year he was awarded a research grant from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
