Moon Sighting UK is the official website of the Islamic Crescents Observation for the UK (ICOUK). The ICOUK is a volunteer organisation, established in October 2008 by Eng Qamar Uddin and a few other active members of ICOP in the UK, including Shaykh Suliman Gani. The main objective of ICOUK is to revive the Sunnah of local Moon Sighting on the 29th day of each lunar month throughout the year and then disseminating the results via the Internet and mobile phone messages.
