The society envolved to the present state a long period of time: it was founded in 1968 as Institution of Asans & Yoga Vayam Deep Breathing By Late Prof. A.K. Das of Jadavpur University at 17-A, south End Park. In 1980 the Institution shifted to its own premises at 8A, Bank Plot, Dhakuria. In the Year 2000, its name was changed to Anindya Yoga Gym Kendra.
