The Wood Spinner aka John Horsfall is the artist responsible for the creations on this site. As a young man, John trained as a chef, but was unable to continue as a result of a serious back injury. During his time away from the kitchen John spent time working at Odlins Timber in Newmarket on the 12inch recut saw, cutting 5metre flitches of exotic timbers.
