Uganda National Association of the Deaf
Uganda National Association of the Deaf (UNAD) is a non government and voluntary organization bringing together all categories of Deaf persons in Uganda including those with multiple disabilities like Deaf-Blind persons. Formed in 1973, UNAD was registered as Non Governmental Organization (NGO) in 1989. It is a national umbrella organization for all grass root associations of Deaf persons in Uganda.
