Tumbler Ridge Global Geopark
Located in the Rocky Mountains in NE British Columbia, this is the first UNESCO Global Geopark in Western North America. The idyllic community of Tumbler Ridge is the only municipality within the geopark. Interpretive trails leads to fifty geosites, riverboat and helicopter tours are popular. We have many Tyrannosaur prints. Staff at the Dinosaur Discovery Gallery staff conduct tours to dinosaur footprint sites. The Peace Region Palaeontology Research centre is the only one of its kind in BC.
