Sei Tou Ken Yu Kai Nelson Kendo Club is a martial arts club founded in 1992 by Sam Hopkinson. Kendo (Japanese fencing) is a martial art where participants spar against each other in full armour (bogu) using a bamboo sword (shinai). The Nelson Kendo Club is an affiliated member of the New Zealand Kendo Federation.
