Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Msgr. John Kottaram launched a project of Evangelization in the villages of North Madras, where Christianity was not well known. The same spirit led the three legionaries Rev. Sr. Mary Sebastian, Rev. Sr. Arockiamary Dias and Rev. Sr. Victoria Peter who were helping him to opt to live in community and settle themselves permanently in the villages to be more effectively involved in the task of Evangelization.
