The Sulo Riviera
Sulô Hotel, the torch of Philippine Hospitality, opened its doors on August 4,1967 in a place that could be fittingly called the center of nowhere. Although it has long been marked as the government center of the country, Diliman in Quezon City was largely undeveloped at that time. Only a couple as daring as Modesto and Trinidad Diaz-Enriquez however decided to build a hotel in the area. The Sulô Hotel stands as a monument to the uncanny foresight of the founders.
