Climate Ground Zero
Climate Ground Zero was originally founded by Mike Roselle and Catharine Dees in West Virginia to organize the fight against Mountain Top Removal mining in the Appalachias. In Canada, the focus is on fighting tar sands and the Keystone XL pipeline, and promoting general awareness of climate change. We work to promote and support every level and type of lobbying, campaigning and networking to get the message across, in addition to non-violent direct action and civil disobedience.
