The purpose of Lion's Roar Translations is to be a conduit for the Buddha's teachings from Tibetan to English, thereby giving many more beings access to the Dharma. Lion's Roar is especially interested in translating the works of the great Nyingma & Kagyu masters, particularly those of the Gyalwang Karmapas. This group is dedicated to the flourishing of the fearless proclamation of the Buddhadharma and the enlightened activity of the His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
