the Yuma Jaycees have produced the Silver Spur Rodeo in Yuma,AZ for 70 years. Started in 1946, the Silver Spur is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), the premiere rodeo sanctioning organization in the world. Consisting of professional rodeo events and barrel racing the Silver Spur is the largest professional sports event in south western Arizona.
