An organization dedicated to the upliftment of physically and mentally challenged people was launched in 1998. In order to inspire the sense of self respect, self confidence and that of feeling of being wanted, Astitwa reaches out to such children of divinity as the disabled in the realms of orthopedics, visual, hearing, mental, spastics and to those plagued by blood cancer, hemophilia, thalasaemia and HIV/AIDS. In short its arms are spread out to all seemingly helpless persons.
