STAR Vijay (Tamil: ஸ்டார் விஜய்; commonly known as Vijay TV) is an Indian entertainment channel broadcasting in Tamil, also available in several other nations. The channel is owned by Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox The Best Channel through STAR TV and Fox International Channels. After being founded by N. P. V. Ramaswamy Udayar in 1994 and later acquired by sankar Balaji, the channel has been co-owned since 2001 by STAR TV and Fox International Channels, which are subsidiaries of 21st Century
