The purpose of the Illinois Trojans Baseball program is to develop young men as people, as students, and as athletes. In a development program the practices are in many ways more important than the games themselves. There is little chance of improvement by just playing games. Improvement requires change, skills development require repetition and most of all it requires specialized professional training.
