The East Bay Chapter of the California Native Plant Society seeks to protect the native plants of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in their natural habitat. Activities include field trips; landscape restoration; conservation activism; Native Here Nursery,which grows plants native to Alameda and Contra Costa Counties for gardening and restoration projects;meetings open to the public with presentations on native plant related topics; and research in several areas of plant science.
