We are a team of researchers currently conducting research on shariah auditing as currently practiced by internal auditors in the Islamic Financial Institution. This research was initiated in the year 2010 when Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) requires that the internal audit department in Islamic financial institutions (IFIs) should embrace shariah auditing practices through the issuance of Shariah Governance Framework (SGF, 2010).
