My name is Tommmy Marrett and I am a director of Sharing Hands Trust charity and I raise funds here in Ireland for building and maintaining children's homes in different states in India. The orphanages we currently have up and running are in Chennai, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa. We currently have over 1,000 children in the homes, plus another 243 baby girls under 1 year old with foster parents. I also run child sponsorship programs which pay for their food, clothes and education.
