The Newtown Turkey Trot is the premier 5k road race in Newtown, CT; third in the Newtown 5k Grand Prix, after the Rooster Run and the Newtown Road Race. It is held every year on Thanksgiving morning at 7:45AM so participants can have a great race AND a great Thanksgiving day, whether they are entertaining at home, or traveling to friends or relatives.
