This website is devoted to the memory of Kansas pioneer Thomas Lovewell, founder of the village of Lovewell in Jewell County, Kansas, and White Rock in Republic County. At various times a prospector, land speculator, abolitionist, Civil War soldier, Army scout, homesteader, and frontier marshal, Lovewell lived through the most tumultuous era in American history.
