Double Mills
Of the scores of mills on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland the only one remaining is the old grist mill. A private non-profit group has been formed to preserve and restore it to working condition, and to restore a general store beside it as a living history site. Preservation is ongoing and the mill is not yet open for tours but visitors are welcome to contact the group for a private visit.
