The purpose of this site is to nurture both theory and practice in excellent teaching, particularly in scientific fields: 1. this is a place to share 5th-10th grade science lessons that are “tried and true” by public school educators; and 2. a forum for shedding light on common issues in education today. The aim is to improve our craft as educators, in a spirit of collegial inquiry.
