Rio Event Design - How It All Started and Who We Are Rio Event Design is run by business partners and married couple, Carolina Carabetti and Rodrigo Botta. Originally from Brazil, the two met in New York City’s TriBeCa in 2009 on Rodrigo’s birthday. Soon after, the two began a relationship,eventually marrying the following year.
