In the summer of 2012, Gen Shimizu rode his Mountain Unicycle 2,755 miles along the Continental Divide from Banff, Canada to the Mexican border. His journey followed the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route and took 89 days to complete. Gen chronicled his bikepacking trip on his blog while raising awareness of the issue of human trafficking and fundraising over $10,000 for Polaris Project, a leader in the fight to end modern-day slavery.
