Western Park Open Air School, City of Leicester built in 1930 this school was once the pride of Leicester a purpose built Open Air School to educate delicate chidren. In 2005 the local authority closed this school and a month later a web site dedicated to its memory was created and launched on the 20th Sept 2011 Western Park Open Air School was granted Grade II Listed Building status by English Heritage making it a place of national importance to Medical History.
