Universal Martial Arts - California opened in 2011. It is the first extension of Universal Martial Arts which originally opened in 1999 in California but then was moved to Holland, MI a few years later. UMA was founded and is owned by its Master Instructor, Master Rick Crawford. UMAC is owned/operated by it's Head Instructor, Deputy Master Kris Carlson. UMAC is licensed through the city of Monterey, CA.
