Jesuit Hakimani Centre (JHC), run by the Society of Jesus commonly known as the Jesuits, is dedicated to the study and action on issues of Christian faith, social justice and peace building. JHC was first conceptualised as a Faith and Justice Network (FJN) in 1991. However, JHC was not set up until 2001. Since then, JHC has been engaged in facilitating trainings to various groups, conducting thematic research, formulating alternative policies briefs, publishing books and journals. Jesuit Hakima
