Theravada Buddhist Council
Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia (TBCM) is to unite and promote understanding among Theravada organisations and followers in Malaysia. The council will represent and safeguard the Theravada community in Malaysia, and work with the other national Buddhist federations to safeguard the overall interests of the Malaysian Buddhists. TBCM provides leadership, direction, and doctrinal interpretation to clarify matters arising that are of public interest affecting the Buddhist community
