Kids and families come to The Family Y to work out, swim, play basketball or join an aerobics class. We offer a safe, caring place for them...a place where they belong. Operating in Augusta, GA since 1858, The Family Y serves over 32,000 members in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). In 1997, the local YMCA and YWCA merged to form The Family Y and jump-started a period of tremendous growth. The Family Y is an association of seven branches, two licensed childcare centers, and Camp Lakeside.
