Founded in 1882, The Universal Gurukul - Shri Timli Sanskrit Paathshala (श्री तिमली संस्कृत पाठशाला) is the first Sanskrit School in Garhwal, Himalaya that offered high school completion programs in Sanskrit to hundreds of students.
