The Taranaki Community Emergency Response Team provides a professionally managed volunteer support capability for emergency management within Taranaki. TCERT's core functions are evacuations, welfare support; light Urban Search and Rescue; storm response (temporary repairs); and flood response and rescue. The response team may also provide additional functions to support the emergency services in non CDEM emergencies (e.g. wander risk tracking and swift water rescue). Visit site »| Tweet |
