My practices uses elements of Swedish and Deep tissue techniques in a way that allows the body to yield to the pressure, using pressure in this manner means that the body is not injured by its own natural reaction to pain, which is to tense up. My background is in contemporary performance, physical theatre and dance, I find my knowledge in these fields extremely beneficial in my work, and harness the knowledge and experience of manipulating my own body to help others to engage with their own.
