Westerlo Fire Company
The Westerlo Volunteer Fire Company (TWVFC) was founded in 1938. Over the past 74 years, TWVFC has grown in size, apparatus, and membership. Westerlo Fire is the only district in Albany County that serves its entire town, from town line to town line. The purpose of TWVFC is to serve and protect our neighbors and passer-bys to the best of our ability. Westerlo currently has an active membership of about 30 members, including ladies auxiliary, fire fighters, life members, and fire police.
