Grupo Balança Capoeira is an international capoeira school that was founded by Mestre Gildo Valu. Mestre Valu has taught capoeira throughout Brazil, Holland, Gambia and the U.S. since 1981. In Nashville TN, the capoeira group is led by his student, Graduado Eme Eme. We host regular capoeira classes and events throughout Nashville. We also give demonstrations and performances. The classes are fast-paced and include music, history, movements, and fun. Be prepared for an intense workout!
