Accept LGBT Cyprus is currently the only registered NGO, formed in May 2010, as a means of protecting, asserting and promoting the fundamental rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans people in Cyprus, while aiming to combat bigotry, prejudice, stereotyping, stigma and social exclusion of LGBT people in local society in general.
