Born in Prishtina, Kosovo, Shpend Xani is a bright new presence on the American theater and film scene. Xani played professional basketball in Germany, and after accepting a role in a local theater production, fell in love with the craft. He received an acting degree from the Academy of Fine Arts at University of Prishtina, Kosovo, and later a BFA from Millikin University in Illinois, specializing in the Stanislavski technique and musical theater.
