Mares Del Sur (The South Seas) is a site blog designed to entertain articles of interest on the topic of Marine Archaeology in the sea of Peru, South America. The site contains many stories relating to projects to locate Spanish galleons and their treasures of gold and silver and historical artifacts and, scientifically excavate the remains and ultimately conserve the finding to be displayed in museums.
